2021年5月30日にオンラインで開催した記者サロン「『リケジョ』はなくなるのか」は、5人の女性研究者の生き方を描いた連載「『リケジョ』がなくなる日」への反響をきっかけに生まれました。
ゲストとして、名古屋大准教授の佐々木成江さんと、東京農工大助教の黒岩恵さんを迎えました。
女性研究者だけでなく、男性や、研究者を目指す学生ら約300人が視聴。配信中も、さまざまな質問が寄せられました。またサロン後は、抽選で選ばれた12人と記者が直接話し合う場も設けました。

The Asahi Shimbun (widely regarded for its journalism as the most respected daily newspaper in Japan) held a “talk session” guided by their three female reporters on May 30, 2021. This event was created as a reaction to the serial that describes the lives of five female researchers.
They invited Narie Sasaki (Nagoya University Associate Professor) and Megumi Kuroiwa (Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology Assistant Professor) as guests.
About 300 people, including male researchers and students aiming to become researchers, watched the program. Various questions were asked during the distribution.
