“Professor Atsushi Akisawa received the ‘Japan Society of Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers: Asia Academic Award’ on September 7, 2023.
He was honored for his ‘contribution to the development of heat-driven heat pump technology’.
・賞の概要
日本冷凍空調学会は2005年に創立80周年を記念し、 大韓設備工学会と合同で、また2011年度より中国制冷学会（ＣＡＲ）も参加し、アジア学術賞を設立。アジア学術賞は学術分野最高峰の賞であり、独創性、学術的水準、当該分野における評価、国際的貢献度、発展性に優れた論文に対して授与される。
Overview of the award: the Japan Society of Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers established the Asia Academic Award in 2005 to commemorate its 80th anniversary, jointly with the Korean Society of Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineers, and from 2011, the Chinese Association of Refrigeration (CAR) also joined. The Asia Academic Award is the highest academic award in the field, and is awarded to papers that excel in originality, academic level, evaluation in the field, international contribution, and potential.”
