東北と九州の電力の監視制御・データ取得システムに記録されている風力発電データを基に「地理的な平滑化効果」について定量的に評価を行った。The “geographic smoothing effect” was quantitatively evaluated based on the wind power generation data recorded in the monitoring, control and data acquisition systems of Tohoku Electric Power Co., Inc. and Kyushu Electric Power Company.

高分子多糖を最小単位の糖に効率的に分解する糖化法を開発した。得られる最小単位の糖はバイオエタノール等のグリーン燃料の原料である。A two-step method to more efficiently break down carbohydrates into their single sugar components, a critical process in producing green fuel.
