第57回 市村地球環境学術賞 貢献賞受賞
化学物理工学科の准教授、金尚弘氏が、京都大学の長谷川茂樹氏、河瀬元明氏と共に、燃料電池システムシミュレーターFC-DynaMoの開発により「第57回 市村地球環境学術賞 貢献賞」を受賞しました。この受賞は、持続可能なエネルギー社会の実現に向けた重要な貢献を評価されたものです。
FC-DynaMoは、燃料電池スタックや水素システムなどを含む包括的なシミュレーターで、システム性能を定量的に計算することができます。特に、実時間の約40倍速での耐久試験シミュレーションが可能であり、燃料電池研究開発の先駆けとなっています。この成果は、日本の水素社会における競争力の強化に寄与しています。
Contribution Award of the 57th Ichimura Academic Award for Earth Environment
We are proud to announce that Dr. S. Kim (Assoc. Prof.), has been awarded the Contribution Award of the 57th Ichimura Academic Award for Earth Environment. He collaborated with Shigeki Hasegawa and Motohiro Kawase from Kyoto University in the development of the fuel cell system simulator FC-DynaMo. This award recognizes their significant contributions to the advancement of sustainable energy technologies.
FC-DynaMo is a comprehensive simulator that includes fuel cell stacks and hydrogen systems, allowing for the quantitative calculation of system performance. Notably, it can perform durability test simulations at approximately 40 times real-time speed, making it a pioneering tool in fuel cell research and development. This achievement contributes to enhancing Japan’s competitiveness in the hydrogen society.
