Engineering) received both the <strong>Chairperson\u2019s Special Prize<\/strong> (Chair: Akira Yoshino) and the <strong>Commissioner\u2019s Award<\/strong> at the <strong>Patent Contest 2025<\/strong> organized by the Japan Patent Office (award date: <strong>December 16, 2025<\/strong>). Their entry, <strong>\u201cDevelopment of a Source\u2011Targeted Gel Fire Extinguishing Agent,\u201d<\/strong> aims to adhere to ignition sources and remain for longer durations, enabling effective initial fire suppression and reducing wildfire re\u2011ignition. Only the most outstanding student inventions are selected for this
