class=\"wp-block-heading\"><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The Department of Chemical and Physical Engineering offers a \u201cLab Rotation Program\u201d for motivated students who want to experience research early in their academic journey.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Originally designed for students admitted through the SAIL entrance exam, this program is now open to other students who meet certain conditions. The goal is to nurture curiosity and research skills through hands-on laboratory experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Eligibility<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>SAIL-admitted students<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Other students (selection based on first-semester grades)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Program Details<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Students choose a lab and engage in research for about six months<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>One student per lab<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If multiple students apply for the same lab, selection will be based on a statement of purpose<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Frequency and activities vary by lab<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students can experience two labs during their 1st and 2nd year<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>No academic credit, but participants will present their research in February\u2013March<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Examples of Past
