For example, particle dispersions undergo coating and drying processes to be used in functional thin films for electronic devices and electrodes for lithium batteries. While there has been previous research on how cracks form during drying and how to prevent them, there are currently few studies on the shrinkage of particle films after drying. Therefore, I intend to observe the distortion of particle films and their shrinkage after cracking to help improve film uniformity and clarify the mechanism of crack formation.
