The awardees successfully developed a soft sensor design tool that allows for data analysis and evaluation using explanatory variable data collected from the field and target variable analysis data from lab analyses, enabling the construction of a soft sensor (model) in a short time using an offline tool. When the coefficients of the constructed model were downloaded to an online tool and connected to a data server, it enabled real-time monitoring of the concentration in the crystallization apparatus, reducing troubleshooting by 90%, stabilizing operations, and significantly reducing the operators&#8217; non-routine tasks.
