While the development of continuous crystallization processes is gaining attention, the complex behavior of nucleation and growth makes it challenging to design crystal particles. To address this issue, Dr. Amari utilizes the nucleation function in high shear fields and crystallization engineering analysis to accumulate fundamental knowledge on nucleation and growth rates during the crystallization process. He proposes a process that integrates Taylor-Couette flow in a cascade manner for a completely mixed tank-type continuous crystallization apparatus, establishing design guidelines for continuous crystallization processes and crystal particle design. His research results are expected to significantly contribute not only to the development of continuous crystallization processes but also to the application of technologies aimed at resource recycling. For these reasons, this research is deemed worthy of the Society of Chemical Engineers, Japan Research Encouragement Award.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter
