In the interview, she talks about how she became interested in physics, the appeal of experiments, and her research on magnetic and quantum materials.<br>Prof. Katori creates new inorganic materials containing transition metals and studies how their magnetic properties change with temperature \u2014 a phenomenon known as magnetic phase transition. Her passion for experiments began in childhood, and through unexpected encounters and curiosity-driven study, she discovered the excitement of physics as a field full of unknowns.<br>She encourages high school and university students to enjoy physics, not just memorize formulas:<br>\u201cPhysics is not a finished subject \u2014 there are still many mysteries to uncover.
