This catalyst can help convert glycerol, a substance found in plants and oils, into solketal, a chemical used in fuels and medicines. The catalyst is made using a special technique called atmospheric pressure plasma-induced graft polymerization. It works well and can be used many times without losing its effectiveness. This suggests that poly(AMPS)-g-PUS is a promising catalyst for making solketal from glycerol.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img
