and Completion of the Doctoral Program<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are three opportunities each year to take the entrance examination (in August, December, and March).<br><strong>Entrance Examination Content:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>15-minute presentation covering:<br>(1) Job description and main duties<br>(2) Previous research and achievements<br>(3) Research plan<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Followed by a 15-minute Q&amp;A session<br><em>Slides must be in English, but presentations can be in Japanese.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The standard duration for the doctoral program is three years. Students can choose to enroll in April or October.<br>If students can quickly prepare achievements suitable for graduation (such as academic papers and a doctoral thesis), it is possible to shorten the duration of study (to 1 or 2 years).<br>For working professionals, long-term enrollment (4, 5, or 6 years) can be selected at the time of admission without additional tuition fees if desired. (The long-term enrollment system can also be applied for until the second year after admission and can be canceled.) Individuals who have not completed a master&#8217;s degree but have relevant work experience may also be eligible for admission after review.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Enrollment Statistics for the Doctoral Program in Grad.
